Start with the toothbrush and clear a reachable patch instead of hiking across the Moon.

Sweep the nearest dust

Place the depot near the work. Buildings cannot be moved later.

Dump at a depot

Dust in storage is not money until the shipment pays.

Launch a shipment

Spend the first cash on fewer trips, not on a late building.

Buy capacity or a better brush

Players report G to scan sector borders so you know when a tile is done.

Scan the hex

Official Steam title is Moon Sweepers. This wiki also answers searches for Clean the Moon.

Tip 1

Windows on Steam only — no PS5, Xbox, Switch, macOS, or Linux store page as of October 27, 2026.

Tip 2

Buildings cannot be moved after placement; place the first depot close to the dust you can actually reach.

Tip 3

Since patch 1.0.3, cash and upgrades are shared in co-op. Do not each buy the same broom.

Tip 4

Scan sectors (players report G) before assuming a hex is finished.

Tip 5

Quick tips

Manual sweep, tiny capacity, first depot, first pay.

Toothbrush hour

Place storage next to dust. Haul less, ship more.

Depot front line

Push broom and larger brushes cut time per hex.

Tool upgrades

Cleaning vehicles cover more ground once cash is stable.

Vehicles

Automate haul and sweep after 1.0.4 robot rework.

Belts and J.O.O.N.A.S.

A building you cannot move is a permanent tax if it sits in the wrong crater.
