How do you fully automate Moon Sweepers?
Belts plus a dump, then catcher → pressure chambers → stone presses → sell, large solar only, J.O.O.N.A.S. feeding catchers. No official blueprint.
Moon Sweepers automation for Clean the Moon: catcher-to-press factory, large solar night ratios, J.O.O.N.A.S. after 1.0.4, and belt swallow checks.
Catcher, chambers, stone presses, large solar.

Moon Sweepers automation turns Clean the Moon walking into a factory: conveyors, packager / robot vacuum, pressure chambers, stone presses, moon blocks, large solar trackers, capsule catchers, and J.O.O.N.A.S. (Just One Overpriced Non-essential Automated Sweeper). Patch 1.0.4 reworked J.O.O.N.A.S. DragDrop Games, app 5335510. Steam.
There is no official blueprint. Recaps that “fully automate” still start from a broom that already pays. Do not belt the toothbrush hour.
| Fact | Detail |
|---|---|
| Start factory when | Walk tax is obvious and broom loop is boring |
| Belt tool | Hammer |
| Field dump | Packager, then robot vacuum |
| J.O.O.N.A.S. | Autonomous hex sweeper; shoots capsules |
| Catcher | Required landing pad for those capsules |
| Example J.O.O.N.A.S. cost | $20k recap — Unverified |
| Basic factory | Catcher → 3 pressure chambers → stone presses → sell |
| Power | Large solar only; 10 kWh batteries, ~16 kWh day (recap) |
| Night ratio (recap) | 2 large per pressure chamber, 3 large per stone press |
| Stations | Teleport $50 recap — Unverified; factories can live at East etc. |

After Household / Wide Broom, container upgrades, and at least one paid shipment habit. Recaps that jump to J.O.O.N.A.S. still call it end game and overpriced. A packager line is the first Moon Sweepers automation; a 20k robot is not. Clean the Moon is still a broom game until walking hurts. First hour: beginner guide.
| You still | Start this | Not this |
|---|---|---|
| Walk home every fill | Packager belt | J.O.O.N.A.S. |
| Hand-load happily | Stay there | Three stone presses |
| Hate the walk, have hammer | 90–100 m belt + packager | Small solar farm |
| Ring of hexes idle | Robot vacuum on that belt | Second North depot |
| Garage hopper jams | Overflow sell from chute | More unsold chambers |
| Want AFK pay | Catcher + chambers + large solar | Toothbrush macro |
Repeatable recap: capsule catcher plus three pressure chambers, each feeding a stone press / moon-block machine, with a second catcher dumping lunar dust into presses if you have spare pods. Splitters can feed extra machines. Output belts into the base seller. Expand copies of that graph; recaps call it endlessly repeatable.

The same recap says four pressure chambers per catcher might be easier with splitter math. Treat 3 as the tested default, 4 as an experiment. Numbers are Unverified community ratios, not a patch note.
A longer episode parked a backup factory at North, teleported to East (~$50 — Unverified), and built a cleaner graph on the equator because nights felt long. Visit a station before you teleport. Pads you leave behind stay there.

J.O.O.N.A.S. = Just One Overpriced Non-essential Automated Sweeper. It sweeps hexes on its own and, when full, shoots a capsule at a capsule catcher. Recaps: cost $20k, nearest catcher wins, catchers can take pods from anywhere on the Moon once the post-launch fixes landed. Pre-rework: they quit if you walked too far — 1.0.4 is why this page exists.

| Need | Why |
|---|---|
| Capsule catcher | Pods have to land |
| Clear catcher belt | Dust must leave the catcher into chambers or a seller |
| Current patch | 1.0.4 rework; old “they break off-screen” reports |
| Space on the catcher | Full catcher stalls the robot |
| Not your first $20k | Broom + belts print more earlier |
If production is starving, recaps shut a nearby catcher so pods fly to the factory catcher. That is a routing trick, not a settings menu. Do not spam six J.O.O.N.A.S. onto one starved pad.
Captions say Junis / Junus / Junice. The product name on this wiki is J.O.O.N.A.S. Search “moonsweepers joonas” lands here on purpose.
Recaps: only the large solar tracker / large solar panel is worth building. Example battery 10 kWh, day production 16 kW-class (wording varies — Unverified). Night ratios: two large per pressure chamber, three large per stone press, with a little overage. Another factory episode aimed two solar per machine plus extra on stone jobs because batteries felt small.
Players complain nights outlast batteries even when “the Moon should be 50/50.” Build overage rather than relocating the whole factory for sunlight you cannot prove. Relocating pads is not a thing — depot.
1.0.3 listed crewmate belt fixes. If kg vanishes, update, then watch one capsule the whole way. Other recap fails: dusty pads, belts too low, no overflow, catcher with nowhere to dump, mergers aimed with the wrong scroll stop.
| Symptom | First check |
|---|---|
| Dust disappears mid-belt | Patch ≥ 1.0.3; watch one item |
| Nothing leaves the catcher | Belt out to chamber or seller |
| Chambers idle at night | Large solar count vs 2:1 / 3:1 |
| J.O.O.N.A.S. idle | Catcher full or too far on an old patch |
| Cannot place merger | Clear dust; scroll orientation |
| Garage hopper stuck | Overflow sell line |
There is no official best. The working Clean the Moon graph recaps agree on is: local vacuum or J.O.O.N.A.S. → catcher / packager → three chambers → presses → sell, powered by large solar, with overflow. Copy it at a second station when North is spaghetti. For live layouts, use discord.gg/5ATRkXkAAe — channel names TBA.

Just One Overpriced Non-essential Automated Sweeper. It needs capsule catchers.
Usually no. Ship a few broom loads first.
Recaps: only the large tracker. Small panels are a waste of pads you cannot move.
